MADPAC is proud to offer an intensive, pre-professional division of company to the more serious and dedicated students. Dancers are admitted into the Company "A" by audition only, and are required to attend a minimum of 2 Ballet, 2 Jazz, and 1 Tap classes per week, along with an average of 2 Saturday rehearsals per month. Students in this division of company will participate in several conventions and competitions per season, plus attend a Nationals Competition during the summer. Company "A" is for serious dancers ages 10 to high school seniors.
The MADPAC Competition Company is a fantastic chance for students to take their dance training to the next level! Dancers train intensively in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip hop, perform and compete at regional and national conventions and competitions, plus learn from the industry's top professionals throughout each season. We hold auditions each summer for returning and new students, making selections based on technical ability, performance quality, potential and dedication. MADPAC offers two levels of competitive company, plus a Junior Prep and Pre-Company for our up-and-coming stars of dance!
For a less intensive approach to the competition experience, students should audition for our Company "B" group. Dancers are admitted by audition only, and are required to attend a minimum of 1 Ballet, 1 Jazz, 1 Tap, and 1 Elective Lyrical/Jazz Technique class per week, along with an average of 1-2 Saturday rehearsals per month. Students in this division of company will participate in 1 convention and 1-2 competitions per season and are not required to attend Nationals. Company "B" is for dancers ages 10 to high school seniors.
For our young dancers ages 5 - 9, the MADPAC Pre-Company and Jr. Prep groups are fantastic for introducing students to the world of dance conventions and competitions. Students attend 1 Ballet, 1 Jazz and 1 Tap class per week, plus an average of 1 Saturday rehearsal per month (Jr. Prep only). A great way to learn team building skills, work ethic and begin to establish an understanding of strong dance technique.
